Still waiting for the info requested, plus they have said that the annual tree survey done by an independant arboriculturist is not available to the public.
Why not?
Is there something within the report they don't want the public to see?
Is there a tree survey that would answer our concerns?
What is to be gained by this stance?
If the annual acounts of the company are available for public viewing, then why not a tree survey?
Seems strange to me.........

On receiving notification from Chorley Borough Council that Go-Ape's retrospective application for the landing zones had been approved I emailed them asking what action would now be taken regarding the fact that the current course design is not the same as the plan which was originally approved. I asked would Go-Ape submit a retrospective application for the change considering the fact that there are now trees in use on the course which have not had a tree survey done and therefore no-one knows if they are safe and fit for purpose? Go-Ape stated that the landing zones were enlarged for safety reasons so I also asked surely the same applies to the trees.

Bob,
I must say, having read all the information you've sent me over the past months, and read also the Chorley Council responses, I don't understand how you have managed to stay so calm and focussed.
It has been obvious for a long time that the people with whom you are dealing have no intention in changing their minds about anything that has gone before and will continue to use any flawed argument they can to protect their original flawed desicions.
Unfortunately I have been involved for some years in this type of scenario with Bolton Council and can only tell you it doesn't get any easier and you've just got to keep pushing. I will continue to harangue Chorley Council by email and hope this small contribution might eventually have an effect. Keep up the good work.

Just had a look at the site location map that has been accepted with the application..
It appears to be the same one that was submitted with the application, and therefore incorrect...... what does that tell you?
either all comments about the incorrect site map have been ignored, or !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!........ I'll leave that conclusion to your own imagination....

No surprises there! it appears some people have a different interpretation of the wording of the 02 Act...
Like I said "Nothing will surprise me"....... and it didn't!
What I can never understand is: "Why abstain?"

Two Pillars mark the entrance located at the junction of Scholes Bank and Lever Park Avenue, Horwich. The pillars are inscribed with the words:

"William Hesketh Lever 1st Viscount Leverhulme. Lever Park the gift of William Hesketh Lever 1st Viscount Leverhulme born at 6 Wood Street, Bolton, September 19, 1851 died at Hampstead, London, May 7, 1925. For the benefit of the citizens of his native town and neighbourhood by act of parliament in 1902 the ownership and care of the park were vested in the Corporation of the City of Liverpool".
