Two years down the line, and everything blends in with the Historic Park.

Its heartbreaking to see what they have done to what was once a beautiful area. Its nothing short of vandalism.
I hope U.U.are proud of what they have allowed to happen. All in theire greedy quest to make money.
Its about time they, and Go Ape were kicked out.
These photos just go to prove that I was right to be concerned when I found out about the plans for a Go-Ape adventure course. I knew then it was an unsuitable enterprise for the area and have said so to Chorley Borough Council and the Ombudsman and anyone else who would listen. One recurring comment I have made has been that Go-Ape does not blend in to this woodland despite what they claim. I take no pleasure in being right. Disappearing ground cover, forlorn tree stumps, platforms bolted to trees, zip wires and landing zones – it is an eyesore.
When Go-Ape submitted their planning application, they sent a supporting letter in which part of it referred to the size of the landing zones and it also stated as follows:
“No cut and fill or other excavations will be required for their construction”
Have a good look at this photo and try and estimate how many tonnes where used in the FILL.
