Latest Attraction

The latest attraction to the tranquil setting of Lever Park ( sorry was tranquil ) is the presence of off-road bikers using the bottom footpath to blast the atmosphere with exhaust fumes.
Again I ask the question ” Where are the UU staff ?” , if we can see what’s going on, why can’t they.
I’ve just read in the” Keswick Reminder” that the Go-Ape cabin was broken into at Whinlatter and equipment was stolen. Cor blimey the thieves would have a field day down here.
They could turn up in a tank, and nobody would ask them what they were doing.

Yes Bob tyre tracks seen on a number of occasions on the briddle path running along side Go-Ape. Also Noticed tyre tracks crossing the arboretum through the long grass. I would suspect this to be a 4×4 looking at the width of the tracks. Rivington seems to be attracting all sorts as it would appear that they can get away with it without being challenged ! Were are you UU ????
It seems U.U. are too busy counting the revenue they are receiving from go Ape to care what is going on in Rivington.their priorities have certainly changed from protecting the countryside to allowing it to be destroyed.
you wont see many horses using the bridlepath these days with Go
Ape at the side of it! Congratulations Chorley Council on stopping people getting out and about in Rivington, especially the youngsters, lone females and less able bodied riders who used to feel safe there on horseback – the farms that earn a living from liveries in the surrounding areas will be the next to suffer….you remember, those locals you are so keen to look after and keep in employment!!
