For several months the “Friends of Lever Park” have campained against breaching of planning permission, urinating in public by both G0-Ape staff and their customers. All these concerns where put before Chorley Council, who to their credit supported our concerns and had the breaches and other issues resolved, with just one or two breaches still awaiting Go-Apes action .
But to my amazement I have recieved a letter from Mr Martin Padley ( Head of Environment and Community for UU ) in which he states and I quote ” It is unfortunate and disappointing that you and your organisation continue to concentrate on a small number of negative events”.
The letter in it’s entirety is to be published on the web-site, so that one and all can judge for themselves how to interpret his comments.
