We’re still here

Just a post to let you know that we are still here, watching and waiting. Bob Dootson, Tony Johnson and myself attended the meeting with UU last week and I would dearly love to say that it was productive, but i’m afraid I personally found it not to be so. We will go to press on receipt of the minutes. It is important that we publish the correct information.
As you are aware we await a reply from the LGO in the hope that justice will be seen to be done. In the mean time GoApe have anounced that the Rivington course has exceeded all expectations in the first three weeks since opening! Think of that what you will.
Well they are hardly likely to say any different really are they? All I know is that most of the riders are giving that area a very wide berth rather than cause an accident!!
The figures released by Go- Ape confuse me (then what’s new?)
PR figures, Mapping systems, Postal systems, O/S maps, Anything can happen!.
Somebody told me that they saw a pig flying over the pike, and that it was looking for Lever Park but couldn’t find it on the map.
Why shouldn’t I believe that, I’m expected to believe everything-else.
Next they’ll be telling me that there is NO Father Christmas (How Sad).
I know you are all still there beavering away and I want to say what a fantastic job you are all doing. You have given 100% commitment to the fight against United Utilities and Chorley Borough Council and I know there are a lot of likeminded people out there who are very appreciative of your efforts on our behalf. I know how time consuming and sometimes frustrating it has been. Irrespective of the outcome I think you all deserve a very big thank you. Well done!
