I had the same letter from Ruth Kelly today and as suggested in the third paragraph, a letter from me is already in the postal system on it’s way to Anne Seex, the Ombudsman. I don’t know how helpful it will be to our cause but if everyone writes to her she will be in no doubt as to how many people are involved in opposing the siting of Go-Ape at Rivington and the way Chorley Borough Council granted approval to Go-Ape’s application. “Delegated powers” were intended to fast track simple applications such as small extensions and the like. I am sure they were never intended to be used as Chorley Borough Council have used them.
