My MP Andrew Gwynne, has now emailed me, to tell me he has written to Lindsay Hoyle offering his help and he is also contacting DEFRA.

I am very grateful to Mr Gwynne, for getting involved with an issue that isn't in his constituency and I will be emailing my thanks to him.

I have now emailed the MP in my area. I know he will get back to me with answers, he always has, even when I have emailed him about issues that aren't in his constituency.

Lever Park is not in his constituency, so I have given him the Lever Park website details, where he can read all about this issue.

The findings of the Ombudsmans report will be made public at the meeting on 23rd March.
It might be a good idea to have a swear box (and make it a big one)

Forgive me if I am wrong, but I thought work had to stop on this project, until the Ombudsman had completed all his findings.

Even if work should have stopped, it looks like Go-Ape, with C.B.C. and U.U.'s blessing are going full steam ahead, with this project, no matter what. After all opening day is less than a month away and if they get fined, so what? they will pay the fine, but the woodland will have already been destroyed. The trees that have been felled in order that this illegal project can go ahead, can never be restored.

C.B.C. and U.U. Lynsey Hoyle and their team of merry men and women don't care how much noise protesters make, the representative of C.B.C. said as much, when along with Bob and others she was interviewed by Radio Lancashire. "This project is going ahead" she said,"Its been passed by the Planning Officer" no matter how many times she was told that the people of Rivington and surrounding areas were not consulted. The only thing she didn't say was tough, but its clear from her attitude and her refusal to answer certain questions, that's what she meant.

The creatures of this woodland will be busy making their new homes in time for their new arrivals, oblivious to the fact that come Easter, their homes will be destroyed and their young and maybe themselves will lose their lives. Do Go-Ape, C.B.C. and U.U. care? no they don't, because they know that stashes of lovely lolly will be coming their way.
Lets hope the "wanabee apes" see sense and boycott Go-Ape, because not only have the creatures and plantlife of this woodland paid a high price, so this money making project can go ahead. The "wanabee apes" friends and relations will no longer be able to walk, ride horses or bikes, or just sit in peace and marvel at the beautiful surroundings that Lord Lever bequeathed to the people.

Last week Paul Whittingham assured me, that the 2 oaks and the old willow by the waters edge would not be touched, he went on to say that he had informed go-ape that this must not happen.
I have emailed Mr Whittingham to-night for his explanation.

Well,we all know what C.B.C. could and should do,and that's make Go Ape stop work immediately but will they? This illegal felling of trees will carry on while the council sit back and do nothing to stop them.Is it not time the police got involved?

Dear God in Heaven I am astounded at the audacity of these people.
I`m going to ring Chorley tomorrow and try to find out who did this and what will be done about it.
I won`t be here in 100 years to see the new trees and by the way does anyone know where exactly these re-placement trees are being planted?
Its a disgrace and I`ve just had an email from my brother asking me to keep him updated on this as he lives down in the southwest and is very interested in our campaign.
