Pollok Park Update

It looks like the campaign to save Pollok Park in Glasgow from Go Ape is turning nasty…
Many of the responses to the article are from campaigners who feel that this is part of a smear campaign by Go Ape.
The Save Pollok Park campaign has an online petition here. Why not sign it and show your support?
I think the Save Pollok Park campaign got nasty when Go Ape’s Aberfoyle site was attacked.
The “Go Ape” company / group are a for profit organisation who will look to expand their activities anywhere that will provide profit.
It would seem to me that they are invited into areas by land orientated organisations to install their arial activity sites.
Surely this eould be better if done in conjunction with private land owners who would then share in the profits rather than destroy present public areas and cause even more traffic chaos to an already stretched environment.
I find that the willfull destruction of current woodlands with the full permission of elements within the planning group|(s) of both Glasgow and Chorley Council is not the wishes of most of the public by public servents.
