We’ve just had a productive meeting with both parties at Great House Barn and on site.
Their concerns are the same as ours,and they have stated that they will try their best to resolve the problem.
They are awaiting a reply from the House of Commons regarding questions asked in relation to the 1902 Liverpool Corporation Act.

I’ve just finished re-reading The King of Sunlight by Adam Macqueen - an excellent biography of William Hesketh Lever. The book has plenty of information about Lever’s early life, his plans for Lever Park and the background to the disputes with Liverpool Corporation. Lever Park Boundaries

It appears United Utilities interpretation of the boundaries differ from those submitted by Lord Leverhulme into the 1902 Liverpool Corporation Act.
The Act and the Map refer to Lever park being coloured yellow,and the Act and the map both describe the boundary going to the waters edge.
